Sourcing natural products from microbial strains

Isomerase were approached by a leading Biotech company who were looking to access 1-5 mg of 10-20 microbial antibiotics that had been published in scientific papers, but were not available otherwise.

Isomerase were able to source the majority of the microbial strains that had the potential to produce these antibiotics from internal and external strain collections and then work on an initial process for each strain to ferment, analyse, extract and isolate compounds in about two months from project start.
