Isomerase has several long-term collaborations with partners in the Agritech and Crop Care sector. We’ve worked on a diverse variety of projects including:
- Strain improvement - via rational bioengineering and random mutagenesis to deliver faster, more productive strains suitable for scale-up and commercial manufacturing
- Process development - titre improvement for bioactive natural products, including insecticides
- Bioinformatics and Genomics - extracting and analysing genomic data to understand biosynthetic routes and/or the basis of improved strains
- Sourcing rare natural products - either as bioactives for direct in planta testing or as intermediates for semi-synthesis. Isomerase has an extensive proprietary culture collection (>5k strains) and can access global collections including patent deposits
- Regulatory support - analytical method development, compound isolation and identification of minor components of in-process samples and final product
